Jiezi – China Street Photography

For 29 years of my life I had never visited Asia, so when I started dating a girl from China I couldn’t wait to visit her family and see a side of the world totally new and unfamiliar to me. One of the most photogenic places I visited in the Sichuan region of China was the Jiezi Ancient Town in Chongzhou Shi.

​One thing I loved about China was the buzz around the towns and cities. Shops and food stalls remained open late at night,  people and cyclists roamed the streets, and colourful lights shined on the rain soaked floor. Jiezi town is truly a photographers dream.
