Luci & Nik – Auckland Wedding Photographer

It’s not often I’m both the official wedding photographer and a guest, but that’s what happened at my friends Luci & Nik’s 2022 wedding. You can spot me in the group photo on the far right, captured using a tripod and timer.

Although this wedding wasn’t in Auckland, New Zealand, where I now work as an Auckland Wedding Photographer, it was a cherished event. Set amidst trees and a stunning coastline, it offered a unique and intimate backdrop.

Being a friend and photographer posed challenges and rewards. I aimed to capture candid moments while fully participating in the joy of the occasion. It was a delicate balance we managed well.

While not in Auckland, this wedding reaffirmed the enduring power of love and the beauty of intimate celebrations. It’s a reminder that weddings are about connections and shared moments.
